The Bug-O-Lantern is a modified stock 2002 VW new Beetle, in the limited edition Snap Orange Color Scheme. Starting in late June 2007, we applied vinyl jack-o-lantern faces to every surface of the car we could think of, in preparation for a cross-country trip to Roswell, New Mexico for the largest new beetle meet in the country. We'll be heading back to Durham, NC from Roswell in a few days.
We've already gotten many smiles, waves, and double-takes along the way, and we hope that if you see us out on the road you'll drop by here and leave a comment letting us know where you saw us. Many more pictures of our trip out west on Route 66 and of the Bug Show can be seen here.

We stopped for the 4th in Nashville and saw this crazy BellSouth building
Then we went up on a parking deck to watch their fireworks
And then the next day we went to the Parthenon!
Next stop: The Wigsphere!
